Well, I would hope that it would be this easy to pick up a book and read it and start a website business. Now, I have never read this book and it may be great, however, I have dealt with a number of people whom said they were website designers but either didn't have the knowledge they said OR they were too lazy to do the work. And people can get burned by either one of those types of people. So, I would just ask that those who are really wishing to start a website design business, be sure that once you start and get your customers, remain honest with your knowledge and ask questions of your customers to know exactly what they are wanting you to do for their site.
The basis of what I am saying is...be sure that if you are going to get into web design that you remember to be good to your potential clients. Yes, a lot of people are seeking out those who can do web design and just be sure that you are on the up and up with what you offer and can do.
I do not do website design myself, however, I have had to go through quite a few people in order to finally set up my own weblog. It would be great to find those whom know what to do and are honest about it.

Thanks for your comments. I agree, that with web design, as well as any business, you should be ethical and upfront about what you know and the time frame it will take to complete the project.
My husband is actually just getting into web design. He's in the process of learning how to actually do it all. I know he will be very upfront. He already has had a couple of people approach him, and he's been very honest about being in the "learning" stage.
