Are you a nutritionist who wants to go online?

Hi there,

Are you a nutritionist? I realize this may only pertain to a handful of people, but I think this is a great idea. Carrie Lauth has partnered with Kari Lewis to create a guide for nutritionists who want to bring their business online. I have purchased another product from Carrie Lauth and it was excellent - very thorough.

Sometimes, you need a bigger audience to market to, which is one of the greatest benefits of the internet. Other times, you just may want to do more of your work from home.

Whatever the reason, check out their guide by clicking the link below. When you are just getting started in the online world, it really helps to have a plan to follow.

Are you honoring God in your work?

Hi,

The sermon yesterday at church was on honoring God in your work. Whether you work outside the home, or in a home based business, do you strive to bring glory to God in everything you do?

When you have to make choices on how to treat others, or in what products to offer, or how to use your money, are you making sure you are pleasing God in all of it?

Make it your goal to bring honor to God in your work, and I believe God will honor your choices.

Remember tonight is the seminar on having a membership site. If you haven't signed up yet, you still can at http://quickpaypro.com/x.php?10120_A222_88 I hope you can make it!

Have a great week.

A business with a continual new market

Well, another Friday. We're having a garage sale tomorrow and the weather is supposed to be beautiful. You never know at this time of year. Our neighbor is moving and wants to get rid of some of her stuff, so a few of us are going to join her - the more, the merrier, as they say.

I wanted to talk to you today about starting a resume writing business. This is a great business for a few reasons:

- Very low start up costs
- There is a continually new market who needs a resume written
- You get to be your own boss and set your own prices (of course, make sure you're competitive).

This is a business that you can easily operate out of a small corner of your home. If you have good typing skills, you may want to look into this as a possible home based business for you.

Check out the start up guide written by Teena Rose. It will give you a great start to your own resume writing business. Click on the link below to read about it.

Hi,

Just a quick post to tell you about Blogrush. You may have already heard about it, since there has been quite a "buzz" about it.

If you look on the right side of my blog, you'll see the blogsphere box. If you sign up for blogrush, you'll be given code to put on your blog. It benefits you because every time it is shown on your blog (when someone gets into your blog), your blog link will show up on someone else's blogsphere.

It was pretty easy to install - there are instructions. So if you have a blog, why not try it out? We can all use more traffic.

Here's the link to sign up: http://www.blogrush.com/r19588146 Click on "settings", then "add new blog" to register.

Good deal on hosting for your website

Happy Monday!

Do you look forward to another week? I hope so. It helps to be doing something you really enjoy. That is my hope for all of you - that you find a business that you'll enjoy and look forward to doing.

I wanted to tell you about a good deal for website hosting. We personally use IPower as our hosting company, and have been very happy with them. They have phone technical support 24/7, which is very important. When I'm having a technical issue, I don't want to email someone and have to wait for them to email back, and go through this process several times before the issue gets resoloved. I want to pick up the phone and talk to them.

I have been happy with the service we get when we call, and the technicians are knowledgeable. They've always been able to answer our questions.

I have experienced very little downtime (maybe an hour or two in the past year). Very important!

All these reasons are why I can recommend IPower to you for your hosting company. We have the pro plan, which should be everything you need. It's normally $7.95/month, but now, until September 24th, you can purchase the pro plan for $5.95/month. You would need to sign up for a one year or two year plan.

This is really reasonable for a reliable hosting company. You also get your domain name included for free.

If you're looking into hosting companies, check them out and get in on this deal. Here's the link:

Blessings,

Want to start a membership site?

Hello,

Well, another week has come and gone. They go faster and faster it seems.

Membership sites are very popular today as a way to make residual income. If you have a membership site, you will have people who are paying you every month for the content you provide.

Personally, I don't know much about how to go about having a membership site, but there is a great opportunity to learn how that I plan to take advantage of. Coming up on Monday, September 24, Kelly McCausey and Lynette Chandler are hosting a teleseminar on starting a membership site.

They will be sharing ideas for membership sites and answering some of your basic start up and management questions. If you’re not already convinced that you should make a membership site part of your overall marketing plan, you could get fresh vision for one during this event!

Your cost to participate is just $1.00 and an mp3 recording will be provided to all who sign up.

Don't miss out. Even if you don't plan to use it right now, for $1, get the information and save it. It seems like this is where things are going.

Click on the link below to sign up.

Starting a Gift Basket Business

Hi,

If I had to choose another home based business to do, one of my top choices would be a gift basket business. I love giving and receiving them. It seems like such a more personal gift than a shirt!

What about you? Have you ever received a gift basket as a gift? If you did, I bet you felt that the person giving it cared about giving you something special.

Now, there are the standard fruit baskets, but that's not what I'm talking about. I love giving someone something that they really will enjoy. For example, my sister just turned 60. She has been a little stressed lately, so I gave her a spa gift basket. She used it one night while she was home by herself, and said she really enjoyed it.

Gift baskets is a huge industry today. I have read it brings in about $3 billion annually in sales.

Think about the occasions you can give gift baskets for - baby showers, new baby, anniversary, birthday, sweet 16, weddings, Mother's or Father's Day, Christmas, and a big one, Valentines Day.

If you would like to become part of this huge industry, I would recommend starting out with a guide that will give you step by step guidelines for starting up your very own gift basket business.

There's a very comprehensive guide to help you get your business going. You can read about it at www.rockhillcottage.com

A Webinar You Won't Want to Miss

Hi,

Well, another week is almost done. They go so fast. Does that mean I'm getting old????

Anyway, I wanted to tell you about an event I think you'll find very helpful. Stephen Beck, of Family Ebiz, is doing a webinar next Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 9pm eastern (6pm pacific). At a webinar, you can watch it on your computer and hear him talking. They are the current popular way of doing teleseminars, and they really are a great way to learn.

Steve will be discussing the 7 secrets to creating your own information product and will be revealing the 3 biggest trends for online family businesses in the next 12 months.

From Steve Beck:

"Plus not only will you be able to hear me, but you'll also SEE and WATCH it happening in real time on your computer screen, complete with real examples and case studies! (And it doesn't matter what connection speed you have or even if you have a PC or
Mac.)

Properly applied, the strategies revealed during this event will allow you to experience more freedom and income than you have ever dreamed possible!"

There are 500 spots for this event. So there's a very good chance this will be completely SOLD OUT. So don't delay in signing up.

Oh - I almost forgot. This event is FREE!!!

Claim your spot here while you can: http://www.FastInfoProducts.com

After you sign up, you will be emailed the link where you can watch the webinar. Enjoy!! I plan to be there too.

Have a great weekend.

Great opportunity for Homeschooling Families

Hi,

Well, today is the day many of you got your kids off to school for the start of a new year. For others, it marks another year of homeschooling. Still, for others, like myself, it brings memories of those days with our kids.

This was always an exciting but apprehensive time for me. Since we homeschooled our kids for most of their school years, this days always brought anticipation for a new year, but also, some hesitation of was I doing it right, or was I teaching them all they needed to know.

Whatever your situation, I want to encourage you that God is the one in control. We need to do our best and follow His plan, and then leave the results in His hands.

I want to tell you about a great opportunity. If you are a homeschooling family, this might especially appeal to you. Have you heard of the Old Schoolhouse? Well, they are looking for sales reps.
Here's a description:

Independent Contractor needed to work from home selling print and web advertising by telephone using an established set of Company leads. The right person will earn commission on everything they sell. Responsibilities include contacting companies and establishing advertising campaigns as well as maintaining existing client advertising arrangements.

This is a commission pay based job. I see this as a position that is very flexible in what hours you work, and would bring in some extra income. Who can't use that???

Check it out. Click on the button ad on the right side of my homepage that says "Old Schoolhouse Advertising Sales Rep Wanted."

A new site for Christian Coaches

Hi,

Happy Labor Day! Yes, I am "laboring" for a short time on Labor Day, only by choice - it's hard to stay away!

I wanted to tell you about a new site I am really excited about. It is a site for Christian Coaches to help them in building their practice. Marlo Boux, owner of the site, is someone I highly respect. She is professional in her approach, and experienced in the field. Marlo is a great coach herself, so she knows what she is talking about.

This is a membership site (only $9.95 per month - a bargain for what it can do for you). When you join, this is what you will receive:
  • newsletter full of practice-building information and secrets that many coaching schools won't tell you

  • an audio teaching MP3 which goes even deeper into that month's newsletter material

  • hand-selected tools and resources to build your business efficiently

  • take-away reports to save to your computer to solidify the content

  • Other bonus reports, as applicable, to that month's teaching

  • The ability to submit prayer requests regarding your coaching practice

  • Scripture to meditate on that will encourage and support you in business

  • The ability to earn commissions for successfully referring other coaches to the membership site

Stop by Marlo's site and see for yourself how you will benefit from joining. Click on the link below.

Enjoy your day.
