Your Teens Can Learn SO Much from Having a Home Based Business

Talk about practical experience!  It doesn't get much more practical than running your own business.  Think about some of the ways your teen can benefit from having their own business:

  • Bookkeeping - they will need to keep track of their expenses and profits/losses.  It will also teach them the value of money.

  • Writing - there is opportunity to do a lot of writing.  You can tailor it to your teen's needs and the business they choose.  If they have a website, they can write content for it or for a blog.  They can start a newsletter and let others know what's going on with their business.  They can write articles as a free way to market their business.

  • Marketing - they will quickly learn which marketing methods work and which are not profitable.  It will give them first hand experience with marketing.

  • Communication - if they have customers, they will need to communicate with them, whether it is by email, phone or in person.

Add these to the confidence boost it will give them and you can't beat it.

Try to find a business that your teen can center around one of their interests and they will be much more inclined to stick with it.

Before launching into any business, make sure you (or your teen - another way to learn - research!) do some market research.  You can read more about this at http://www.christianhomebusinessconnection.com/market-research.html

Do You Wonder if You Could Homeschool and run a Home Based Business?

Read about 29 Families and their real life experiences of doing just that.

This book holds the collective wisdom of hundreds of years of experience. Many of the families interviewed have owned businesses for 10-20 years or more. A few are just beginners. Some have 11 children, some have 2 children.

A Realistic Picture...

This book does not contain hype or unrealistic visions of a home business. These are real families, just like yours, who share their real-life experiences, struggles, and difficulties, in addition to the blessings and benefits of having a home business. They willingly open themselves up to share their personal stories.

This book is normally $15.97.  Right now, there is an amazing sale going on and you can pick it up for only $3.00!  Click on the link below to order.   Scroll down on the page and click on the picture of the above book.  That will take you to the order page.
