I, Laurie Neumann, am the owner of Christian Home Business Connection. I have been married to my husband, Dan for 22 years.  Dan works as an engineer for the automotive company he has been employed at for the past 28 years and has helped  tremendously in the technical aspect of this site.

I have lived in Rochester, NY all of my life.  Dan and I have two children, Josh, 22 and Beth, 20.  We homeschooled them for ten years.  Now they have both graduated and moved on to other ventures.

During my daughter's last year of homeschooling, I began to pray and ask God what He wanted me to do next.  I was searching the internet for jobs I could do at home, and came across an opportunity to own an online Christian bookstore.   Dan and I had previously considered owning an actual Christian bookstore in our city, but the financial investment was too high.  So this opportunity jumped out at both of us.

I loved working in my bookstore business at home.  Unfortunately, the company  ran into some financial difficulties, and had to temporarily shut down operations.

So - I was back asking God, now what?  He put in my heart a desire to start a work at home site.   Let's back up.  Over the three years prior to owning my bookstore, I had gone through some major health issues, then depression set in.   It was to the point where it was hard to get up in the morning, looking at a long day ahead and not knowing how to fill it.

When I started my online bookstore, it helped me so much emotionally.  This was a business I could get excited about, something to get up for.  God used this opportunity in my life to turn things upward.

I want to help others have this opportunity, to add something in their lives that helps to bring them fulfillment and meaning, and financial freedom.   You don't have to have health issues to want to work from home, you may want to stay home with your kids or just have more flexibility in your work day.  Whatever the reason, my desire is to help you find the opportunity that is right for you.
