Audacity Audio Editor

Before we talk about the Audacity audio editor freebie for today, I wanted to mention that I did a guest blog post for Candy Foote this past Wednesday.  She guest blogged here and I did there, but I neglected to tell you about that part:-(

Now, for today’s freebie.  Audacity audio editor is free, open source software for recording and editing sounds. It is available for Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, GNU/Linux, and other operating systems. (description taken from their website at http://audacity.sourceforge.net

I have not used this software yet, but I downloaded it the other day.  My plan is to familiarize myself with it and begin to record some audios of my products.  Up to this point, I have not ventured into the audio world, but I have been told that it’s time:-)  I was introduced to this software by Cindy Rushton, and if she recommends it, I trust it!
