To stay motivated, it is helpful to focus on what is on the agenda for the day. Don’t get caught up in the past – maybe what you weren’t able to accomplish or what went differently than you had hoped. That can get you down.
Also, don’t look too much into the future, as that can be overwhelming. It can seem too big, or unclear. Looking at the past and the future can cause us to stand still.
Instead, be in the moment. Focus on today and what you want to accomplish TODAY. It will seem much more doable and after you accomplish what you set out to today, it will motivate you for tomorrow.

True. I get overwhelmed very easily when I take things as a jinormous whole.
I try to focus on one or two things at a time and then move on. Life today IS overwhelming!
