Do you pray for and about your business? This is an essential element of running your business in a way that pleases God.
There are so many areas that you can pray about for your business – direction, wisdom, blessings, that you will be a good witness, who to enter into partnerships with, what products to create and sell…and the list goes on.
I think it’s a good idea, if possible, to pray each morning before you begin your business day. Dedicate your day to the Lord. Ask Him to help you accomplish the tasks He wants you to do, and for His wisdom and direction. Get specific. If you need new clients/customers, ask Him for them. If you need an idea for a blog post, ask Him for it. I think you get the idea:-)
I don’t believe any request is too small to bring to God. He wants to be included in every aspect of your life.
I recently wanted to create a new product, so I took it to God and asked Him for an idea. I feel He gave me a GREAT idea. I”ve been working on it all of December and it’s just about finished. It’s all about running your business in a way that pleases and honors God.
