Five Ways to Be More Efficient

Want to be more efficient so you can get more work done?  Here are five ways to get you started.

  • Make a list of “to do’s” for everyday and go through them one by one
  • Stick to what is important to do “now.”  Don’t get sidetracked by all the emails of great products that you might use “someday.”
  • Invest in tools that will cut down on the time it takes to do tasks – one of my favorite resources is my email manager, Aweber.  You can keep track of all the people on your email list (or multiple lists), and can send out emails to thousands of people with a click of your mouse.
  • Outsource.  If you’re swamped, hire someone who has the skills you need.
  • Keep your goal in front of you at all times.  If your goal is to grow your business (who’s isn’t?), then all your activities during your workday should point to that.  Always be asking yourself if what you’re doing is contributing to the growth of your business.

Anyone have any more tips to be more efficient?  Please share them.

Absolutely right! I don’t use a planner anymore. Too much stuff. I just need a notebook with my To Do List. I put all the stuff I want to get done on it with the most important To Do’s first. Then I love crossing them off one at a time. Many of the things on my list don’t get To Done but I put them on my list each day until they To Do! lol

I’m with you JoJo. My list doesn’t always get done when I was planning on, but then I just move it to the next day until it gets completed.

    Thanks!
