If you have been looking for free html editors, I have one today that you can download for free.
It’s called Komposer, and as I understand it, it used to be NVU. Take a look at it and see if this will fit the bill.
Please read the warning below as taken from the Komposer website before you download it.
This version is not recommended for Mac Intel users: KompoZer 0.7 is only available as a PPC build for this platform.
Warning: this version does NOT work with recent GNU/Linux distros.
KompoZer 0.7 is not compatible with GTK ≥ 2.14 — expect crashes. If you’re using a Linux distro that ships KompoZer 0.7.10 with GTK ≥ 2.14, please inform the package maintainers about this.

Ok I thought so. Is that like a WYSIWYG? I have one on my website so I can update it myself. Great tool for non techies!
