Marketing – Not “Selling”

The Twelve Days of Marketing

For the next twelve days, I will be sharing with you tips and ideas from a resource I read, “Getting Business To Come To You” by Paul and Sarah Edwards.  It has also been called “Marketing for Introverts.”   I’d first like to take a minute to introduce you to the authors.

Paul and Sarah Edwards have written numerous books on working from home and changing your life, some of which have sold over a million copies.  They not only write, but speak and broadcast about ways to improve your life and work.  Their book, “Working from Home” spurred several articles being written about them in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Business Week and Newsweek.  Their book, “Making Money in Cyberspace” received the best general computer book award from the Computer Press Association.

The Edwards have been retained for their services by corporations such as Ameritech, Canon, DuPont and Hewlett-Packard.

They have an impressive history, and have since gone on to a new adventure, and have just written “Middle Class Lifeboat which is a comprehensive guide to enjoying a more stress-free and financially secure future.

I am giving you this introduction to let you know these are respected authors who know what they are talking about.  I have talked with them both on the phone and they are down to earth, helpful people.

Over the next several days, I will be sharing a short tip from their book, “Getting Business to Come to You”, which I think you will find delightfully refreshing and doable.

I hope you’ll come along on our twelve-day journey!
