Preserving Memories

Preserving memories is a great business to become involved in.  Why?  Because you are helping others to keep their memories alive, and be able to pass them down to the generations.

Today, there are lots of ways to preserve memories:

  • Scrapbooking
  • Videography
  • Story specialists

You may not be familiar with that last one, but we’ll be talking more about it on Wednesday and having an interview with the owner of a “story specialist” business opportunity on Friday.

For now, let’s just think about how important it is to preserve stories.  I remember sitting with my husband’s grandmother, who passed away several years ago, listening to her tell her life story into a cassette tape recorder (yes, things have advanced a little since then:-)  Now, when anyone in the family wants to, they can listen to her speaking and telling about her life.  It’s a great thing to have.

So many times, stories go untold, which is a shame. Even people who don’t feel like they have no story to tell, when you delve a little into their lives, they realize they have a wonderful story to share.

Come back on Wednesday to read about a company who is doing just that – helping others – young and older – tell their stories.

I actually have a guide on starting a business with telling stories…. I was just thinking about it again the other day because I thought it would be a great opportunity for my mom.

Ahh…I would love to see where you got that. Feel free to share the link here if you feel it would be helpful to others.

    Thanks Rhonda!
