I just sent out a newsletter to my subscriber list about WHY I work from home. We talk so much about what to do from home, but often, we don’t stop to think why we’re doing it.
There are many reasons to work from home. You have to find what motivates you and then keep that in front of you. Close family relationships and being able to give to others are some of the things that motivate me.

I love to work from home because it allows me to keep my priorities in order. I do not have to worry that I will be scheduled to work on a church day or night and I can work my clients around our homeschool schedule. I thank you for your blog and your newsletter and pray that God will continue to bless your efforts to educate others about working from their homes.

Thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement. I agree 100% with you. How nice to know we can set our own schedules, and work our “jobs” around our other priorities.
I homeschooled too, for ten years. My kids have since graduated. I didn’t have a home business then, but I think it would have been great to have one and also include my kids in it as much as possible.
