Well, we’re winding down another week. September is going fast.
Today, we’re on “K” for starting a Keepsake Business. What is a keepsake business? A business that is centered around making or selling items that have sentimental value. It might be a scrapbook of your child’s first year, or a quilt made of special pieces of clothing, or a handprint or footprint of your baby. It could be a video of your family pictures. It could be an audio recording of an elderly person telling their life story. You get the idea – find an area to specialize in that will provide a remembrance for people.
This can be a big business as people want to remember special moments in their lives. These are the things that last and are cherished for a lifetime. The moments pass, but a keepsake can keep them alive.

Some sites you may want to check out for some ideas and opportunities are Once Upon a Family and
Just a tip** I looked at Wordtracker to see what the number of searches were and the number of competitive sites was for the term “baby keepsake footprint.” It was a great combination! So, if you get into this business, be sure to set a website up. You should be able to get ranked on Google with a little effort.
Have a great weekend!
