The Proverbs Challenge Continues

I hope you have been reading Proverbs along with me these past weeks.  It is an amazing book with so many practical guidelines in it for life.

Today, I wanted to look at Proverbs 21:5, “The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, but those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty.”

I am looking at these verses from a home business aspect, as that is what I do:-) When I read the above verse, I see the problem in so many failed businesses.  People can tend to jump into a business quickly before they really think it through and check it out.

Today’s verse reminds us to be diligent in our plans – pray about them, think them through, do your research.  When you do all these things before starting up a business, you have a much greater chance for success.

For more practical insight into what the Bible has to say about running a business, check out my eBook, “Run Your Business God’s Way.”  You can find details at Christian Business Ethics.

Sooo many business offers that sound soooo promising it is just tooo easy to jump in feet first but of course we tend to come out wet and broke, lol. Wish I had found Christian Home Business Connection before I parted with some of my money, keep up the good work. Now I truly try to seek the kingdom of God before I expect anything to be added to me.

  3. Hi Janetta,

Thanks so much for your comment. I am happy to hear you say that you are truly seeking the kingdom of God first – God promises to add the other things we need when we seek Him first.

    Blessings:-)
