Sometimes life brings adversity. With today’s economy the way it is, many are losing their jobs and finding themselves in situations they never imagined. How do they react? What is their attitude like?
I wrote an article about this very topic which you can read at the link below.
How Are You Handling Today’s Economy?

I think everyone is feeling today’s economic lows. My business had slowed tremendously since the bottom fell out. My response was to start another venture and to streamline. I have always had compassion for folks who were going through financial hard times. My dh would like me to charge a lot more for our studies and says I practically give them away but I have always felt the need to make our communication studies available to as many as possible. Speech communication skills are vital for relationships and for business either your own or as an employee. It’s something that really isn’t a luxury or an extra. It’s something your business needs if it is going to have any hope of succeeding. So I like to make sure, especially now, that it’s affordable.
Laurie,
One of my weaknesses is procrastination. When it comes to worry though it’s a great strength. I’d like to think I have great faith that God will provide and that this faith is the reason I do not worry. I certainly believe that God will provide and hope that it is a large part of why I do not worry about finances ever.
It could also be a little bit of procrastinating about worrying. I just never seem to be able to get around to worrying about finances, and there have been times in my life that I probably should have been worried. I love that you quoted Romans 8:28 in your article. It is one of my life verses.
So I guess my answer is that other than watching the savings account dwindle down – not much.

Brad,
I like that – that you don’t get around to worrying about finances. I agree, that procrastination can be a very good thing in a case like that.
