What Does Being a Christian Entrepreneur Mean to You?

I am a Christian entrepreneur as many of you reading this blog are.   Let me share what that means to me.

God is my boss.  Well, you can’t ask for a better boss than that!  I manage my business but God and I make the decisions.  I ask Him to guide me in all of my decisions so that they will honor Him and will be the best ones for my business.

I have the privilege of serving God through my business.  We can serve God in any realm that we are working in, and I am so thankful to be able to do it through my home business.  Practically, that means sharing what I do with others so I can help them, giving my best to others and honoring God in the process.

I love being an entrepreneur because of the freedom and flexibility it offers.  And it also allows me to give to God’s people financially which pleases Him.

Being an entrepreneur means I have something that I am really invested in and that gives me purpose every day.  Yes, some days I get discouraged and would like to see my business grow quicker than it is, but there is nothing else right now that I would rather be doing.

Now it’s your turn.  What does being a Christian entrepreneur mean to you?  Please share with us.

Being a Christian entrepreneur means that I seek His guidance in all areas of my business from what products to create and how to market to what I offer free of charge as a ministry. Also it means that I seek His guidance not only in the new things that I do but in re evaluating some of the old things to see if He still wants me to be involved in them, wants me to stop doing them altogether or if He wants me to change how I do them. Found that out big time this year! LOL

Being a Christian Entrepreneur means being able to have an eternal impact on the world and my community by praying and spreading the word of God through my business.

    Laurie,

For me, being a Christian entrepreneur is a calling. It is about using the talents and resources that God has blessed me with to generate income that can be further used to bring glory to him.

God provides for us through our business and blesses us financially so that we can become the Lydia in Phillipi, or Joseph of Arimathea, or the unnamed man who provided his home for the last supper.

We are mere stewards of His resources who like the men in the parable of the talents are expected to maximize those resources for His will and glory.

    God bless!

    Brad
