We hear a lot about marketing these days, but exactly what is marketing? In my own words, marketing is letting people know about what you offer. Now, those people should be the ones that would be interested in what you have to offer. But, to put it simply, it’s building a good name for yourself, so that when people are looking for what you have to offer, you are the first person they think of.
Does marketing scare you? When you hear the word marketing, what comes to mind? Selling? Bragging? Tooting your own horn? Being obnoxious? I hate all those things, and if you’re like me, I have some great news for you.
Marketing doesn’t have to be uncomfortable. You don’t have to be a salesman or pushy. What I am about to share with you in the days to come will free you up from thinking you have to get out there and badger people to get them to buy what you offer. It will cause you to say “I can do this!” It can even be, dare I say, fun???
