Domain Names
What is a domain name? Simply put, it's your address on the internet. My domain name is christianhomebusinessconnection.com. In choosing a domain name, you need to check if it is already being used, or if it is available to purchase. A fairly short (yes, I realize mine is not too short), easy to spell name with .com at the end will be easy for your customers to remember. The cost is about $7 per year, or get a free domain when you sign up for hosting with the pro plan.

You want to choose a company that is reliable and has 24/7 phone technical support. Hostgator has both. They have different plans available, so you can choose what you need. We chose the "baby" plan.
