31 free blogging tips!

Hi,

I hope you had a wonderful Easter. How good it is to remember what Jesus did for us and what they means to us. We had a very nice church service and went out to dinner later on.

I mentioned a few weeks back that I was going to be following 31 tips to better blogging during that March. Well, you know how some plans don't always go the way you thought? I made if for about the first five days, then got busy doing other things and haven't really gotten back to it.

So I thought I would just give you the link to where you can read about the 31 tips to better blogging yourself. I still want to tackle them (at least the majority of them) but I think it may take longer than I anticipated.

Here's the link - it's free, so take advantage.

Have a good week!

31 days of blogging tips!

Happy Monday,

I hope you had a nice weekend. It is 64 degrees here today. That is practically unheard of in New York in early March! I've got all the windows open - I love to let the fresh air in.

I am doing a 31 day blogging challenge and thought you might benefit from it too. Join me in the fun if you have a blog.

I am starting this a little behind - March 1 would have been the ideal day to start. But here goes: I'll cover the first three lessons here.

1. Do an informative "About Me" page - http://www.skelliewag.org/how-to-write-the-perfect-about-page-by-numbers-150.htm

2. Use images in your blog posts - it makes it more interesting for the reader and gives them a better feel for what you are talking about. I use istockphoto.com - the pictures are very inexpensive there.

3. Write blog posts in advance. This is so helpful for those days that you are really busy working on other things, or totally out of ideas of what to write. Write 7 days of posts in advance.
This is especially helpful if you are writing a series of posts on the same topic. Write them while your train of thought is going!

So where am I in all this? Well, I did work on my About Me page and I just bought a great picture to use in one of my posts.

Now, I need to go write the next 7 posts. Let me know if you're going to do this challenge with me. I'd love the company!

Laurie

P.S. I will still cover some other topics during March so even if you aren't a blogger, there will be something for you.

I want to talk again about blogging and I have another FREE report for you.

This report talks about the importance of establishing yourself as an expert on your blog, so that you become the person in your niche that people go to for advice, help, etc.

Make money with your blog - get tips

Hi,

Happy Thursday!

Do you blog? I try to keep up with mine, but I have to admit, it's not always easy coming up with things to write about. Sometimes I don't give it the priority I should.

It's best to be consistent with writing on your blog - I have heard it recommended at least 2-3 times per week, daily is better. Wow - I don't know about daily:-)

Also - interaction is good. Try to find ways to involve your readers. Ask questions. Run a contest with the requirement that they post to your blog to enter.

Offer a way for readers to sign up to receive email updates. They are more likely to read your post if it is delivered right to their inbox.

Did you know that a blog can be a powerful way to stay connected with your target market and to earn income? If you are not experiencing this with your blog, you might want to get some pointers on how to increase your profits as well as increase your reader list.

Two ladies that I am acquainted with and respect have come up with a course on blogging. Alice Seba and Lynette Chandler have created Blogging Intensive, a four week course on blogging.
