Is a Bulky Stroller Better Or Is The Lightweight Model the Best?

There seems to be hundreds of different brands and models of strollers available, and since they all tout their different attributes, it is difficult to pick one out of the pack. For example Consumer Reports chose one particular stroller for tall as their favorite one, and later that very stroller was recalled.

Top ten lists start popping out, and yet they are all different and it gets more confusing at best. As you really get into the stroller hunting business, nothing is better than to see a stroller in person, and to touch and feel it. After all, all you need a stroller for is to take your baby for a walk, and you are not exactly purchasing an automobile, although you would think that is the case with all of the comparisons of this and that to do with strollers.

Bulky vs Lightweight Stroller

It is much easier to categorize strollers into two areas; one is a light stroller and the other is a bulky stroller. The advantage of a lighter stroller is that it is much easier to handle and to put away when you are not using it. All you have to do is fold it up and stick it in the closet. On the other hand, with the heavier, and more bulky strollers, they won’t fit in the closet, so they end up just sitting around somewhere in the back room.

The bulkier strollers do have the advantage of storage while you are out. There are nice cubby holes and nooks where you can store extra diapers, blankets, bottles and other baby things that you might need. Not to forget, you can store your own lunch there too.

So it really boils down to your own personal preference whether you like a lighter stroller that is easier to store and maneuver, or a bulkier stroller that gives you the convenience of storage, and perhaps a more cushy bed for your baby.
